About Dr. Ray Foxworth

A second-generation chiropractor from Yazoo City, Mississippi, Dr. Foxworth is a 1985 graduate of Cleveland University–Kansas City and has spent nearly four decades shaping the future of chiropractic care. He is best known as the founder and CEO of ChiroHealthUSA, where his experience with billing, coding, documentation, and compliance inspired him to create a solution that supports both providers and patients.

Dr. Foxworth’s career includes serving as Staff Chiropractor at the G.V. Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center, past chairman of the Chiropractic Summit, and former chairman of the Mississippi Department of Health. In addition, he practiced for 35 years at Foxworth Chiropractic at NewSouth NeuroSpine in Flowood, Mississippi, where he cared for thousands of patients with compassion, expertise, and integrity.

His commitment to service extends far beyond clinical care. Dr. Foxworth currently serves as an at-large board member of the Chiropractic Future Strategic Plan, a past member of the Cleveland College Foundation board, and an executive board member of the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress. His leadership, generosity, and steadfast dedication have left a lasting imprint on the profession.

When Dr. Foxworth founded ChiroHealthUSA, he built it on a foundation of giving back. Since its inception, CHUSA has donated more than $3.8 million to support state associations, chiropractic research, scholarships, and professional advancement. This includes the well-known Foxworth Family Scholarship, established in honor of his parents, Drs. Charles and Betty Matthews.

Dr. Don Cross, President of the ChiroCongress Cares Board of Directors, shared, “ChiroCongress Cares is pleased to recognize Dr. Ray Foxworth as our 2026 Legacy of Leadership honoree. His decades of service, innovation, and unwavering commitment to chiropractors and their patients, along with his tireless advocacy and generous spirit, truly embody the heart of this award.”
