ChiroCongress Cares names 2025 Legacy of Leadership Scholarship in Honor of Dr. Chris Anderson
Molalla, Oregon — (December 12, 2024) — ChiroCongress Cares is pleased to announce that
the 2025 ChiroCongress Cares Legacy of Leadership scholarship will be named in honor of Dr.
Chris Anderson. The Legacy of Leadership scholarship is a $5,000 award given to a deserving
chiropractic student each year by ChiroCongress Cares. It will be awarded at the annual
ChiroCongress Convention to be held in Boston, MA, November13-15, 2025.
About Dr. Chris Anderson
Dr. Chris Anderson graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2011, where he earned
innumerable awards and honors. He then joined his father at Anderson Chiropractic Clinics, later
taking over the business and growing it into Anderson Integrative Clinics and Motiv8 Children’s
Therapy. He traveled all over the country to teach clinicians and their teams how to reach their
maximum potential and he imparted his knowledge in ways that no one else could.
He was especially proud of his international outreach through the Palmer Clinic Abroad Program, where he provided care to underprivileged patients in many countries including Vietnam, India, South America and Figi. In 2023 Chris was honored as the “Chiropractor of the Year” from the Chiropractic Society of Wisconsin.
Chris leaves behind a legacy of kindness and dedication to his family and friends. His imprint is
lasting in the Chiropractic profession as well as the Reedsburg community, but spreads far
beyond. Chris always thought of others first, willfully putting their needs above his. We will all
miss our beloved Chris.
Dr. Evan Gwilliam, a close family friend of the Anderson family, stated, “Chris was the kind of
person who made everyone feel like they mattered. He brought a unique energy and optimism to every room he entered and inspired us to be better versions of ourselves. Naming this scholarship in his honor is a fitting tribute to a man who dedicated his life to lifting others up and making a lasting difference in the chiropractic profession and beyond.”
“It’s truly an honor to recognize Dr. Chris Anderson and his dedication to the chiropractic
profession. The exuberance he brought to everyone and everything he touched and the way he
elevated others makes him the ideal Legacy of Leadership honoree.” Dr. Don Cross, President of
the ChiroCongress Cares Board of Directors.
